In the beginning…

When I started creating Zentangle art, I used books from the library, and patterns from www.tanglepatterns.com (a fantastic resource by Linda Farmer, CZT). My first efforts were on scrap paper I had cut into the requisite 3.5″ squares (with the office guillotine shear – most fun). I am very into recycling, and I had some old letterhead on very nice paper that made very nice tiles.

Here are some of those tiles:
